When you reset to 'shipping conditions' or factory reset was everything unplugged? If not try it.

I'm sorry to say that I think you may be on to a hiding to nothing :(

I had a similar thing happen on my Panasonic TV a couple of years ago. I found a local guy that specialised in repairing Panasonic TV's. Unfortunatley, this was a problem that stumped him. He could find what were supposed to be replacement boards and although they fitted - the connections were incorrect - and subsequently still didn't work. He tried several boards but always had the same problem. He gave the TV back to me and wouldn't even take any money because he had failed to help.

In the end I had to swallow it and buy a new one. I was gutted as TV wasn't even 3 years old. I bought a new one from John Lewis so that I got the benefit of their 5 year warranty. I did manage to sell the old one though to someone who didn't require use of the HDMI ports so got a bit of money back on it.

Hope you have more luck than me! :)

If we're talking about a TV that's less than 3 years old (and 'reasonably' IMO, 5 years old for a good TV like this), shouldn't you be taking it back to the retailer under SOGA as it hasn't lasted a reasonable length of time?
