my upvc window can't close

Options
Them bolts in the middle seem to be catching on the frame mechanism which it sits in, can I simply adjust them shootbolts (googling makes me think this is the right term) so it can just fit in or do I need to replace that whole part?

Your advice is appreciated.

Try searching on You Tube for answer to your problem.

Incidentally, I've just discovered how helpful You Tube can be in solving lots of DIY problems.

What keywords did you use though? Youtube is great if you know exactly what you are searching for.

Spray lots of WD40 or 3 in 1 oil into the mechanism to lubricate and try again.

The problem is its dropped too much I think rather than it is getting 'stuck' as it is scratching into the metal part of the window frame thing that them bolts lock into.

Start with "upvc window repair" and go on from there.

Not extremely helpful especially if you already know the keywords to be properly looking at.
