Laptop has a virus, pop up galore.please PLEASE help

Hi All,
I am typing from my phone.
My son watched netflix on my laptop then started playing free games.
Since then it definitely has a virus.
I tried to scan via anti malware virus
nothing came up.
My ESET security has expired.
I downloaded panda anti virus, Seems it has made my laptop worst. pop up galore.
I now cannot even get on to the Internet.
Before I downloaded panda I tried system restore to no avail.
I am typing from my phone.

The pop ups say "windows cannot open this file" and about 30 of the same pop up keeps occuring.0

No other Pcs. but may get my mum's laptop later.

All my desktop icons are now white.
when I click on malwarebytes it says runtime error@0 -
How do I get on safe mode?0

I managed to do system restore via safe mode. i will now look for protection!0

This gosave virus is still there with its pop ups
...lots of viewing thread, but no responses.

Try installing ABP which is a free advert pop-up blocker.
Also free AVAST antivirus.0
