ASDA job offer

Hey,

About 3 weeks ago I attended an ASDA magic event. I heard nothing from ASDA but someone else who attended the interview told me I had gotten a job. I phoned them and they said they would get back in touch at the end of the week to arrange an induction event. They didn't so I phoned again and was told the same thing. That's now passed and I've still not contacted me, whilst someone else who attended the same interview is working with them. Have they forgotten me or do they not have a job for me yet and I have to wait?

No I did - they offered me it on the phone and told me my position and hours that I would work!

are you sure they have your correct phone number> maybe they have been trying to contact you.
if they have offered you the job, go to the store and ask to speak to personel..
explain what has happened..

That's what I thought but I gave them my mobile number plus they have my email etc so that made me wonder if something else might have happened

was it for a store or asda house?

If its a store, You need to contact the store directly and speak to the People Service Manager (PSM) extension 215 they handle all recruitment instore, if not they can put you in touch with the store of learning (SOL)

Correct the best thing to do is contact the people manager. However the extension number is now 260.

A sol store would not be able to help.
