After paying 46 years of National Insurance contributions, 'luck' has nothing to do with it.
This does not cover the cost of a state pension. Also, the state has already spent those NI contributions on the general population for the last 46 years, not put it aside to pay pensions.And I suppose if we all started jumping over the edge of a cliff, I should accept that as well?
