Scotcall good or bad

Hi all had a letter saying my Vodafone debt had been passed on to Scotcall...before I ring them I was wondering if someone could give me a heads up on these guys! Anyone know what sort of payments they accept etc?

Scotcall are a debt collection agency same as any other really, no powers out of the ordinary.
I would suggest that rather than go rushing to call them, you work out clearly what you can offer first, and then send them an email or letter making that offer. Plenty of help with that kind of thing available here - if you put up a Statement of Affairs (SoA) we can help guide you on what a sensible offer would be.

As Dennis says, no better or worse than any other DCA.
Just deal with them in writing, don't ring, make an offer you can comfortably afford, doesn't matter what they will accept, you pay only what you can afford to pay, hence better to deal only in writing with these people.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
