No, tell them you want 150 million and can pay back a £1 a week.

Just running this past you guys..

I'm unable to make ends meet month in month out, however a friend of mine is prepared to lend me £100 million, providing i pay them back in April and i stick something on the back of a fag packet by the end of October to show all will be ok by then.

    Should i :-

    (a) Take the money and worry about my problems later?
    (b) Deal with my problems now, and learn to live within my means?

Take it and lend me a couple of Thousand :rotfl:
    Is it April?

NI22 I had put you on my ignore list because of the content of your posts but I feel somebody should try to help you fit in better as you are still very new to the site and this board.

I'm doing this in a friendly manner because I can see you're trying to instil a little bit of humour in your posts. Here's a couple of hints which may help you. Don't take this as an admonishment because I don't have the right to do that.

    1. Read the MSE Forum Rules and Forum Etiquette. This is very important.

    2. Don't get on anyone's back. Bullying isn't permitted on MSE.

    3. There are certain sensitivities which specifically pertain to the Northern Ireland board. Mention of these can cause people to become heated in their comments and WILL result in threads being edited by management, closed, or removed altogether before their useful purpose has been served. This often brings with it individual sanctions or banning.

    4. Don't take any warning you receive lightly. Management will not allow ill feeling to remain on the board. Examine your postings and wonder to yourself where half of them have gone to - or where the threads are now? They're gone because they were unsuitable for the board.

    5. Remember: primarily this is a money saving forum for Northern Ireland. Management have graciously allowed us to discuss other NI related topics but you shouldn't flood the board with them. Get involved in the too-ing and fro-ing of moneysaving by providing tips and advice for others from time to time.

    6. Above all - don't get involved in arguments.

Please don't reply to this. I will remove it in a day or so once I'm sure you've read it. You can PM me to let me know when you have. That's if management don't remove it first as an unsuitable post.

I would appeal to other members to ignore this too. I'm not trying to be the board police, just hoping that with a few words of advice I can steer a new member out of potential trouble. :)

OK point taken but I'm not going to allow people on here to walk over me or my culture just because I'm a Catholic.

Stop with the religion thing please. And please delete the message above which you quoted from me.

    I'm a newbie I don't know how to delete - maybe I don't have the sactions yet?

Go into "edit" and you'll see four boxes at the bottom of the grey portion. Third one from the left is "delete".
