Working from Home / Online as a full time job?

Just wondering - does anyone make a full time living from working from home online?
Is it "the future" in terms of the next big growth area for jobs?
Do people who are doing it part time / full time now consider themselves "early adapters"?

I lot of people have said they have their full-time work online, although some here have said it involves doing 2 or 3 different things.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I've worked from home for the same multinational taking calls for 7 years. In that time there has been very little increase in the number of large companies doing it, I work fulltime on fixed shifts.
Quite why there aren't more I'm not too sure as it seems to work well for this client (10 million customers in UK) .
It seems to work better in the US with the likes of major airlines, computer companies, cruises companies and even retail store customer service companies having homebased workers taking incoming calls.
The technology complete with appropriate security certainly exists as is the availability of workforce.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
