I've been hanging my nose over these for a while and have just noticed that they have been reduced to £49.99 on the Robert Dyas website. Delivery is £4.99 but there's a code on the website (FREEDEL50) for free delivery on orders over £50. I added a pack of batteries to get the free delivery. They also do free click and collect instore but I don't have a store near me.
I've seen them at various prices recently but never less than £64.99.
ETA - And there's 5.5% on TopCashBack

£49.99?
Wow. I work in one of their stores part time and it was £79.99 when I was last in. Guess i'm in for a surprise on my next shift - they sold well at £79.99.
Students also get 10% discounts and various stores have local discount schemes too. Also look for mailings with vouchers such as %'s off and money off a certain spend too.
ETA - just looked at site and it's not that price in store, so will get lots of confused customers over the weekend and customers wanting us to price match in store - could be fun!0 -

Be careful if you are buying one.
I am a cleaner and all of my clients have steam cleaners, one friend bought the X5 and it is so flimsy its unbelievable, the handle is 2 parts and where it joins is halfway down so a tiny amount of pressure makes it bend.
Its a shame as they do clean well but my friends one lasted about 2 months before it snapped.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. They are still better than the Morphy that we sell and no comment on Beldray.
Avoid Shark as well.
12 month guarantee, so within 2 months I hope he/she had a replacement/refund.0 -
Thank you OP, just ordered. 8% Quidco too0

Shark is the best one I use.
She did get a replacement that also snapped so now she just uses it as a hand steamer in the kitchen and bought a Vax one for the floor.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Shark are known for there unreliability, but glad yours is currently working.
I use it everyday and its lasted 2 years so far so if it packs up now I would buy another one.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I've seen all the demos of this on qvc and wanted to get it and resisted and I don't even like cleaning but like gadgets! I looked online on Amazon and another site and read so many bad reviews saying they pack up after a short amount of time. Such a shame. I don't want to waste my money on it.0
