Def NOT a happy bunny. I did order it through amazon in the end as i have no car all weekend and can't get to the shops until Monday.............and have been waiting all day. No sign of it at all. Nothing. Zilch. Phoned the royal mail customer service line several times to be greeted with "press 1 for this/press 2 for that/press 4 for deliveries/etc etc etc" they should have an option called "we do not intend taking your call at all so press whichever button you like it makes no odds to us".
I know there are far more worthwhile things to get annoyed/angry about but I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo looking forward to this!!! I had it all planned - lots of coffee, twiglets and chocolate, nice read on the settee, bit of "me" time.
Am I the only person in the uk without harry potter?

If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

We haven't got one either - waiting until we go near an Asda on Monday to get one cheaper, by which time they will all be sold out probably!! Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I'm hoping my daughter gets one - she's just gone to ASDA with her mum.
Knowing my luck, though, they'll be sold out. :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

Hypno I LOVE the little smiley! Thanks both - perhaps we should start a "Without HP" club! lol
Think I'm more annoyed about the principal of the thing. Hubby is away this weekend with his daughter in the caravan and rang to say they were having a lovely time and then - bless - tried to be all sympathetic to me!
Ah well. might just stab the postie on MOnday to make myself feel better....or get the cat to trip him up.......fit a mouse trap to the letter box...........the possibilities are endless! If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

Just phoned her, hypno - can't print the reply (I didn't tell her it was for you - honest).
Anyway - I won't get to read it until she's finished - probably Monday. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

Poor you! I practically attacked my postman this morning. I did read that Amazon were giving their copies for free if they were ordered before 17th July and not delivered today though.0 -
