Husband and 15 others are off to Liverpool next Saturday for Stag night in Liverpool. They are staying in Holiday Inn in Lime Street - does anyone have any suggestions for decent nightclubs/pubs

Cant help you since I don't live anywhere near Liverpool but I thought perhaps if you try asking the same question here as well, you might get a few more replies

There are three main sections to Liverpool nightlife - down by the Albert Dock (expensive and mainly for people off Hollyoaks/ designer wannabees), Mathew St (mainly pubs, nice and relaxed, generally bit of an older crowd) or around Concert Square (bit younger, louder, loads of bars and clubs but you do have to pay to get into a lot of places there).
A lot of the places in Concert Square are open during the daytime and you can sit outside (if it ever stops raining!) and start the evening early.
It really depends how old they are and what kind of places they like. I'd steer clear of the Albert Dock but you can have a great night out pretty much anywhere else. Concert Square is closer to Lime Street but the city centre's not that big so it's not really a trek to get anywhere.0 -
We always liked the Raz as students (a.k.a. the blue angel) Oh man, that brings back so many alcohol smeared nights0

It's closed for refurbishment at the moment, god knows it needs it!0

The floor was always sticky in the Raz0
