Marlin F & F offer please help

Marlin have bought a debt from HSBC of mine.

I was paying at £40 a month when they bought it. I cancelled the DD as I had notice they had bought and sent them a CCA request.

They have now come back with a credit agreement and I would like to move forward with a full and final offer.

I owe 7200, what would you offer and how likely are they to take it?

Thanks

Don't have any experience with Marlin, but some of my F&Fs were 30% so something similar might be worth a try.

    Good luck with it

    thanks Moohound.

I am thinking of starting at 15%
I could afford to go up to 50%, but am not telling them that!

you might struggle to get anywhere near that
they now know they can enforce it based on paperwork
it is most likely not statute barred as you have been paying it

so they know they can get all the money back how are you going to convince them that taking a settlement is in their best interest?
