what needs to be done to be able to work?

My cousin has moved here from Germany to live, she was born/raised in Germany but has a British passport so no need for a Visa. She works self-employed for 2 German companies using the internet - she logs her hours and they pay her monthly although the hours each month vary.


She's had an appointment at Job Centre Plus and yesterday received her NI number, so what is left to do before she can work?


From what I can fathom, its register as self-employed on the HMRC website, get a current account, set up a direct-debit to pay Class 2 NI every month, and fill out a tax return and get a bill for income tax and Class 4 NI at years end? Is that all, or is there anything else she needs to do?


I've asked in a different thread about current accounts as she is currently paid in Euros.
