clearing my debts

Hi
I've been paying off my debts through a dmp with stepchange for around 6 years
Paid off just over 18k. Unfortunately debt was just over 100k!!! Failed business etc. Through a relative I may be in a position to offer full and finals, I will only have a maximum of 20k though. Been reading lots on here lately but getting a little confused.
I've never asked any of my creditors for any original cca's, all of my debts are before 2007. Is it possible that if my original cca's are not available, there is a very good chance I can negotiate a good settlement figure?
Any advice welcomed
Thanks
