Lost P60

I would need to have my last 5 years of p60 forms, however I can't seem to find the one from year 2011/2012
I asked my employer if they could provide me with a copy/replacement and they said they can't help as the company changed ownerships during the years and in that year the company was still running under a different name and now it doesn't exist any more. (However nothing has changed with my job/position/salary in the meantime, so in 2011/12 I had the same job at the same place where I am working now.)

Can anyone help me how I could get a p60 from that year? It would be so important....
Who should I contact?

I think HMRC can give you a statement of your earnings for that time.

Also if you have your last payslip of that year, it will have the same info on it.

HMRC are able to provide you with a letter confirming earnings, tax, etc. over a period.

People often need things like this for immigration purposes
