Problems with some survey sites

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble registering to some survey sites?
There are 2 now which I've joined (both very popular and always menioned about in a good way on this forum) but both sites have deactivated my account. One of the reasons was that the info I supplied was not allowed in their T&C's (no idea what on earth that means) and the other one said I couldn't use an IP address that others used in the same household. No idea how they know someone else lives here as the other person has never joined that survey site.
Very odd! I didn't think it would be so hard to join survey sites.
