Redundancy coming and no job to go to

Options
Just wondered if someone could advice me please.

I am due to be made redundant on 31st August. I am registered with job agencies, am scouring the papers and writing to companies in the area. I have 6 weeks to go and am really worried what will happen if I don't find a job to pay Septembers mortgage  Would I be entitled to any benefits or even any help towards paying the mortgage? I feel sick at the thought of not having a job.
Life is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what yer gonna get ;);)

Do you have insurance with your mortgage company in the event of redundancy, sickness etc?

If you do, they will pay your monthly payment for up to 12 months, I know my mortgage is covered for anything like that.

You'll be entitled to claim Job Seekers Allowance. How much you get depends on your circumstances.
