hiya
i'm in the middle of claiming my bank charges back, and was very surprised that it totalled so much in view of this i had to remortgage my house. does anyone know if i can claim compansation for this?

No you cannot.
It doesnt cost anything apart from court fees which certainly do not require you to remortgage your house.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). you mis- understood what i meant. i meant that because my bank charges were so high i got into debt and had to remortgage my house to keep my house
