Better get there quick, they're selling really fast!0 -
Don't forget price match , may be better availability in Sainsbury or Tesco's . It could be a good way to hit £40 spend in tesco and get £5 off next spend .0

Baileys £10 at Asda 1 Litre0

Make your own ...
“BAILEYS” CREAM
Makes approx. 1 litre
INGREDIENTS
400g tin of condensed milk
170g tin of evaporated milk
300ml carton of single cream
250ml of Scotch whisky
4 teaspoons of coffee essence
METHOD
Pour the milk and cream into a 1 litre jug or bowl.
Add the whisky and coffee essence.
Stir together.
Pour into a clean 1 litre bottle.
ADDITIONS & ALTERNATIVES
Adjust the amount of coffee essence to taste.
The original recipe specified UHT long-life single cream, but this can now be difficult to find. Use normal single cream instead.
Don’t use your best single malt for this. Any cheap supermarket own-brand blend will do.
TIPS
Use the whisky to wash out the milk and cream containers, then add it to the bowl.
This will keep in the fridge. However, I don't know how long it will keep for: it’s never stayed around long enough to go off.
If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

Hmmm that sounds great. Might have a try and make some of my own. I suppose you could make as much as u want then not worry about it going off. Can't u use elmlea as long life cream. I know it isn't cream but it has a good shelflife0

A slight diversion: does anyone know of where to source nice Creme de Menthe at less than the £12/500ml bottle at Sainsburys and Morrisons?
I suddenly have a craving for minty Bailey's, reminds me of the NYE parties I went to with my parents as I was growing up. We would play hide and seek in cupboards and under duvets whilst the men would quaff brandy and women with cigarette holders would sip this weird looking green stuff.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
