Strangely, my cheap shorts and tights (Primark's own make, Karimoor and Crivit (Lidl)) have pocked in them. But I use a running / money belt because I've got several things to carry; so it doesn't matter that much. And I use a shoe pouch for my key. That's all it stores - but it comes in useful and is easier than trying to find my key in amongst everything else.Sealed pot challenge #232. I do get where you are coming from, I do boot camp twice a week so am outside in all conditions. if the weather is bad my kit gets filthy - i need something that will be ok washed and worn a lot, but that won't cost the earth to replace. Although in my case, rolling about the mud, i don't want my phone / keys in my pocket.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

As someone who is rather short, I tend to wear kids stuff. It's cheap and is fine in terms of being washed and worn a lot. I mainly run in Addidas. (no particular reason for this)Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

If I go for a run I sometimes put a spare house key on one of those narrow elastic head bands and put it around my neck, where it causes no issues tucked away under my compression top. I don't normally bother carrying my phone for a little local run.
PS: I wouldn't carry my usual bunch in this way!0 -

If your trousers/shorts have a wide enough waistband, it's not too difficult to unpick a bit to make a small pocket, then you can use stick-on Velcro to secure it - no sewing required. But to be honest it's not that difficult to find gear with pockets somewhere like Sports Direct if you can be bothered to wade through the rails of almost-identical trousers to work out which have pockets and which don't.0

You can buy things that go around your arm - pouches - either elastic or velcro ones to keep stuff in. I got one from Sports direct for about £5. I keep my ipod in it on my upper arm at the gym. Might solve your problem.0
