hiya. I was wondering if anyone else does a northpole breakfast in the run up to xmas with their little ones ? . I do this every year and turn the kitchen into a winter wonderland with a xmas tree, ceiling decs, lights, scene setters that cover the wall and set the table out northpole style in the way of santa hat chair covers, santa mittens containing cutlery, tablecloth and tray with xmas themed party plates, cups, bowls. for the menu its
snowman soup - hot choc with mini marshmallows
santa hats- chopped bananas with a strawberry on top
snowman hat - homemade top hat sweets
xmas presents - homemade peppermint and orange creams wrapped in foil
snowballs - truffles dipped in coconut
reindeer poop - truffles dipped in choc sprinkles
snowmen - pancakes with raisons to make eyes, nose and mouth
rudolphs nose and elfs outfits - cucumber, cherry tomatoes, lettuce
thats off the top of my head and we have the northpole breakfast after school time so when the kids come in its a surprise ...

what a fantastic idea!!
I might just borrow that for one of our 'elf mischiefs'.
I usually make a packed lunch for my girls where everything is cut into the shape of gingerbread men, snowmen, trees etc, it can be tedious with things like ham but worth it for their reactions! - My eldest has moved up a school this year and my other daughter has school dinners now, so, your idea would be an amazing alternative!!

yea i do it every year as a treat from our elves - they go and see mrs claus and come back with lots of sugary/sweet treats.
we always have red or green pancakes with syrup and cake sprinkles, candy canes and cinnamon toast. then we have a few other bits, this year we each have a tub of lucky charms (£1 shop), and snowball cakes and hopefully xmas crumpets and a drink with an xmas label.
last year we had "melted snowmen" (bottled water) and the year b4 we had "sunburnt snowmen" (pink yoghurt drinks with choc chips added)due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
