Do you get paid to appear in home mags for room makeovers?

Does anyone know whether you receive payment for appearing in the home magazines, eg Your Home, House Beautiful, for being featured in an article about room makeovers you have done?
They tell you how to apply to appear in the mags, but not whether there is any payment for it.

I suspect that some might do it for publicity because often the families have a shop or a business that has supplied some of the furniture or curtains or similar, or they have a design business etc.:hello: :wave: please play nicely children !0
