Significant number of nectar point thefts

Hi
I've just discovered that 19500 nectar points have been spent in September through a purchase in Argos. On searching I have discovered that this appears to be alarmingly common of late. http://conversation.which.co.uk/money/tesco-clubcard-fraud-loyalty-points-schemes/comment-page-1/#comment-1385629 outlines some examples. Given the number of people reporting on just one website, presumably the theft is well over a million pounds in total.
I've reported to the police, emailed Nectar and posted on their Facebook page, so am hoping for an update shortly.
I'd strongly recommend checking your nectar statement and changing your password too as clearly Nectar have lost an awful lot of personal data for someone to commit such a crime.

Checking you have anti virus installed or no viruses/ keyloggers before you change your password otherwise you will be in the same position.
Just follow the usual rules about passwords and you will be fine.0 -

Hi
Thanks for your comments. All my antivirus software, firewalls etc are highly recommened and fully uptodate ones, so that shouldn't be an issue. Plus they haven't tried to access any other account.
Thanks again.0
