Hi I work for a local cleaning company, yesterday I worked from 8 am until around 4:30 including collecting and dropping off laundry that was needed for the job I was doing which was cleaning 2 holiday lodges .my boss is saying that my workmate and I will only be paid for 2 hours each! So if id worked on my own id have got the full amount of pay but less if I worked with another cleaner? Surely this is wrong i worked 8 hours so surely we both get get 8 hours of pay each ? I've worked fir the company fir 8 months and im in Scotland just in case there's a difference in employment law here, any help advice would be gratefully received thanks

What reason has your employer given for only paying you for 2 hours?

He said the premises we cleaned should take 4 hours each or 2 hours each if done by 2 people0
