Has anyone any experience of doing this?
I was wondering if anyone had any tips for changing the tables from wedding breakfast to the night do? Without disrupting the guests

It's just the logistics that is worrying me. What do you do if it rains? Do you need some sort of gazebo/marque/tent?0

you'd probably find guests would help anyway.. I'd not stress, just go with it.. while some will sit and ignore, others will help.
you just whizz round with a binbag clearing tables and then shuffle tables about 1 at a time starting with empty ones/almost empty.
Maybe having 1 group start table shuffling while you are cake cutting? That might work.. tables would be empty of people.. 2 people to lift tables and 3 or 4 people with binbags clearing.. it would be done in no time.
I think a balloon release in memory of those who cannot be with you would be nice though..
if it rains.. you have a bucket of £1 shop umbrellas and dish those out.. much cheaper than anything else.. if people want to stay inside they can help clear up

We went to a village hall wedding last night, all the guests helped to move the tables ready for the dancing. I honestly wouldn't worry about disrupting guests, most people wouldn't see it as a problem!0

Thankyou for your replies you're right I am over thinking things..... I love the idea of releasing balloons in the memory of those who can't be there. It's funny but we were wondering how to inlude the grandmas who we miss very much x0
