Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.

I dont know how quick this pen is however, A little tip. Now USB pens are getting "bigger" the speeds of them are really important. There is a difference between each pen how quickly they write to the drives. Trust me 4gb on a "slow" USB pen takes a lifetime so going cheap may actually lose you a lot of time.

I'm not sure on the speed of this drive, though i do have a 2gig sandisk cruzer titanium which is fast compared to many other usb drives i used.

So i'd reccommend this drive, normally i find sandisk drives are faster than most.

and you can to - HERE
  • Throwing in my tuppence here to clarify a point. I have both the U3 Cruzer Micro and Titanium 4GB devices. I intended to use both as Vista ReadyBoost memory - for those not aware, Vista can use the device as extra memory when required, sort of like a paging file.

However, having spoken with Sandisk's tech support they advise that you do not try to use the Cruzer Micro as a ReadyBoost device since it really doesn't have the required transfer rate to be effective. They advise that the Titanium does - but both are marketed on the packaging as ReadyBoost devices. Vista will do the formatting for you, it's not an optional extra, so if you see two Titaniums and one is marked with a higher price for ReadyBoost, don't be fooled.

Also be really careful in doing any BIOS updates or resets while the device is plugged in, as Windows Vista has been known to try and mark the boot record on the device if the CMOS is reset - that will screw up your system as it did mine recently, and it's hard to get it back. Bottom line is just to remove the device before doing any BIOS updates.
