Hi
My 1st post and im not sure if this is in the right section so sorry admin if its wrong.
Me and my wife took out a debt management plan with money worries 4 years ago and consequently last the idiot who owned it was arrested for taking all the money (nice man love to meet him) so the police force that were dealng with it passed our details to clark richards and we carried on paying.
After a conversation with C R I found out when we started with them we started our debt management plan again so the previous 4 years and £4000 was for nothing . I've been in touch with the financial ombudsmen they put me on to the insolvency agency and then the liquidator who is only dealing with creditors not unsuspecting members of the public like me.
Is there any thing I can do to get my money back

Is CR the people dealing with the moneyworries insolvency, or are they a new DMP company?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

If it's just the moneyworiies money you want to get back, then as far as I know there is nothing you can do.
It's not covered by the FSCS. Only the liquidator can share out funds.
That is the danger of going with a commercial company. They sometimes go bust taking all your money with them.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

As for CR....
The FCA are forcing quite a few commercial debt management companies out of business lately, and a lot are going bust of their own accord.
If I was you I would switch to somewhere free and guarenteed to be stable like stepchange. Not only will your money be safe, but 100% of what you pay goes to pay off your debts.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
