Where do you buy your flour from? Also do you go for cheap cheap or high quality. I used to get flour from costco, we've now run out and I need to start shopping for flour again, its been about two years since I bought flour!
Money money money.

Aldi or Lidl. I get my wholemeal and specialised flour (spelt, rye etc) from wherever it's convenient, usually Tescos or similar.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.
Started 30th January 2018.

Aldi or Tesco normally.0

For the average stuff, the standard supermarkets.
For the harder to source stuff (rye, maslin etc) we've found tourist information can point us to mills & then we either go as part of a holiday or trip out, or see if the power of t'internet can help. Weight is a chore but some mills will cooperate with myhermes which drops the shipping cost nicely.
That said, it's likely quite possible to reactivate your Costco membership?0 -
Tesco at the minute. 3kg Allinsons for £1.50. Absolute bargain.0

I have reactivated my costco membership, I don't live in the same city so we don't go too often. I've bought Aldi plain flour today at 45p a bag but I do like to have pizza flour and lots of bread flour.
I have it in my head that I should have really good quality for bread etc but I don't know enough about the difference to know whether it makes enough of a difference. If that makes senseMoney money money.

I just use asda smart price and my baking always turns out fine.0

I really doubt there is any significant difference between any of the own brand (or Aldi/Lidl) types of flour - and I definitely don't think it's worth paying extra for one of the big brands.
Personally, I find Aldi's just fine and well priced.0
