hi i would like to know what my outcome would be as im worried i have been called to a disciplinary where i sold something to someone not realising it should came off counter what makes it worse is had coaching last week i had a meeting today for investigation now suspended on fall pay im getting done for gross misconduct failure to follow food safety and actions present serious food safety risk this my first disciplinary im so nervous

I doubt anyone on here could tell you what the outcome will be as we don't know the full details. You could just get a written warning or you could be dismissed if it deemed serious enough.

What exactly happened? What did you sell that you shouldn't have? How long have you worked there?

i sold something on hot food counter which was supposed to be removed and been working for 12 mths

Er, it was removed - by the customer, once they had bought it?

Or do you mean you sold something after it had been on display for too long and should have been disposed of?

You'll get much better advice if you try reading your posts as if you were someone who didn't know or your job, and adding all the information someone would need to give you advice.

(and a few full stops and commas would make it much easier to understand - and you'll get more help)

sorry im just nervous and coming out in typing ,i sold something from hot food that was meant to come off counter to be disposed

i said to my colleague that should not of sold and was worried she goes dont worry about it ,everything is fine

than today that colleage reported me for doing it

this making me so ill due to my anxiety

You've been there less than two years, they can dismiss you without repercussions if they wish to. No one can tell you whether they actually will or not.

So you knew it should've been taken off sale, but you sold it anyway?

If so, no offence, you're bang to rights - I'm guessing as we're talking hot food & timescales it's a health & safety issue, if that customer had got ill through that your employer could have been in a LOT of trouble. I know that's not really what you want to hear, but personal responsibility, you done screwed up - now it's time to face the music.

Used to suffer, not currently so no need to go to the doctor. Just sit back, put your mind to something else and await for the disciplinary. Any reason why you sold it?
