NIE Monthly Bill Reduction!

Hi,
I note today that my monthly sub has gone down by 30% compared with last year!

Is this a reflection of lower oil prices in recent months?

Are you pay as you go or do you pay quarterly?
  • Monthly direct payments with annual review. Seems to work well!

Monthly direct debit has been reviewed and reduced because you have overpaid significantly last year - in other words used less than they estimated when they set your monthly payment.

I got rid of my monthly DD ,I found it was too much of a guesstimate.
I opted for a keypad meter and I have to say my usage has fallen as I am more aware of what I am using .

Pretty sure the price of leccy has stayed the same for the past while.
And I've owned my own house for 9 years and the price has only gone down once by about 5% a few years ago, and it was shortlived.
