First Eastern : Charging wrong fares

I've had issues with the first eastern busses in Norwich
I get on the bus at a stop located in zone 2. For months the driver charged me £4.20 which I never questioned as I assumed this was the correct fare. Then I started getting charged £3.50 every so often, which seemed odd and I asked a driver about this
It turned out that £3.50 WAS the correct price for a return within zone 2 of the city, and I am rightly peeved at getting overcharged for my journey ... ESPECIALLY as my mother is still getting charged £4.20 by drivers.
I have sent in a complaint via their website 3 times over the last month or two, and the company hasn't gotten back to me. So I will be looking at calling their customer complaints number if I don't hear back from them after this latest complaint.
I was wondering what I can say to them in regards to trading law? Surely there is something regarding a company charging too much for a service that is advertised on their site and by some drivers as being at a certain price? Any help I can get about this before I call will be appreciated as I want to bring this all up in my call to them!
Thanks ~

You could try contacting Passenger Focus, the watchdog for bus (and train) passengers outside of London:
www.passengerfocus.org.uk/bus-passengers0 -
Just looked at them ...Passenger Focus is unable to help passengers with specific complaints about bus and coach (scheduled domestic) services.if you have an individual bus or coach complaint in England and Wales (except London), please let the bus or coach company know first. If you don’t feel it has been resolved to your satisfaction, you can raise it with Bus Users UK,0

So as you have had interaction with First and nothing has come of it now get onto them with your complaint. Have you kept hold of the more expensive tickets too?"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0
