    Quite correct.
Inflation is low, wage inflation is even lower.
There's no case for a rate rise at all.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

It is well over 5 years since the rate dropped to 0.5%. Why are people worried about it rising?
If you bought before the rate dropped to 0.5% then you should have overpaid your mortgage or sorted your finances out for the day that rates do rise.
If you bought after the rate dropped to 0.5% then you should have overpaid your mortgage or sorted your finances out for the day that rates do rise. See a similarity there.
I know it is harsh and I do have sympathy for some people, but 99% of people only have themselves to blame.

Just because people don't think prices will crash doesn't make them rampers.

It's amazing that some people think that some might bother to ramp on here to at most a hundred fellow posters, as if that would influence the market.

I find in strange that a lot of people don't seem able to differnciat between what people think will happen and what they want to happen.
