Don't know if this is a national offer, but our local Brewer's Fayre has buy one main course, get one free, all day, any day.
OK some people don't like Brewer's Fayre, but this may interest those who do.

The Showground Brewers Fayre in Norwich was also doing this but pulled the offer early as too many people took up the offer.
Might be worth calling ahead to check if you are planning to go specially and take advantage of the offer.0
