Full and final wording when debt no longer on credit reference agency file

I am making full and final settlement offers on our debts, all of the debts have dropped off our credit files as most defaulted in or before 2006.
Should I still include the wording asking them to make a entry on my credit reference agency file as being paid and the account closed?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'd probably still include the sentence as standard and because it is correct information, but it shouldn't cause anything to reappear on your file.
Obviously keep an eye on your file for a couple of months afterwards to make sure they haven't done anything silly.0 -
are they statute barred or just off of your file this will make a big differenceThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50

If it is off your credit file then it is irrelevant. If it was me I wouldn't include it. Especially as older template letters include the requirement to mark it "fully satisfied". Not something they can do when it is actually only partially satisfied and they have the ICO breathing down their necks to ensure reporting is accurate.
Since it is irrelevant, don't let it get in the way of you getting a good settlement deal.BSC No 248
