Thank you that has all been very helpful. I will definitely be sticking to this site from now on, especially as everyone is so helpful when I find myself confused.
Will let everyone know as soon as I have my first win :-)
Thanks again

Oh my goodness, thank you sleepyjones that is all really helpful. I never realised it was all so full on but to stay on top you really need to be on here every day. With so much time on my hands at the moment that wont be a problem. Thank you :-)

i'm an oldie on here & was going to post some help for you but found sleepyjones 's post was saying all that needed to be said
without all the usual 'plugs' & was very helpful/friendly & excellent for any newbie/& anyone who's not to familiar with the site to read
ps: yes, I do use other comping sites, as do a lot of others on here as you'll soon recognise their user names/styles of posting etc,
it's a great way to check answers/helping each other & having comping buddies to help out,
lots of good luck to youplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Personally I use a mix of these two ways to sort the board:
Today's most popular
Standard View
I then just work through the pages entering any that catch my eye. After entering for the time that I have it is more a an exercise in spotting threads that do not have a green tick on.I tend not to use the red cross very often.
I mainly use Standard View but the other is good for sifting the biggies to the top.
How do you sort the board by most popular? I didn't realise you could do that! It is right handy! Thanks x£135/£2015

The "Todays most Popular" is not perfect but tends to combine sifting the cream to the top, cream being the higher value comps, plus adding comps that are close to ending.
I have it as my second bookmark on my PC & dip in to it a few times a day.0 -
