Where's the best place to buy cheap material/fabric?

I'm looking for cheap fabric for role play corner for classroom. Is ebay my best bet or perhaps Ikea?

Ikea is good but if you are near cardiff check Fabric Warehouse at Culverhouse Cross -maybe one near you if you are not in this area. Also l volunteer in oxfam and bought material here and other charity shops-if you cant see any worth asking -usually some lurking!

We use http://www.online-fabrics.co.uk/ a lot, can be v v cheap there, we've found ebay pants for fabric - really expensive and not great quality (granted for school you prob don't need it to be great, but some really nasty stuff).

A local Haberdashery might have some as well - I just did a search on yellow pages and on google for haberdashery and my local area and it came back with one quite near that had loads and loads of off cuts really stupidly cheap, you might get an extra discount being for school as well.
