Not been paid overtime, where do I stand?

Hello,
A few weeks ago I did a night shift at my work (10pm-4.30am) doing some audit stuff.
I get paid Friday, and got my pay slip today. I noticed that they had paid me the night time premium, but not for the actual shift!! Meaning I had been paid £1.55 an hour...
I have spoke to my team leader, and he understands. He is going to talk to the lady who does the wages tomorrow, and get it sorted.
However, I have a fear they are going to make my wait til NEXT payday for the 6 hours overtime as the cut off date for wages was this saturday just gone.
Any advice? Can they do this? I am fuming as I did them a favor and they have messed it up..

They have done it, mistakes happen
If the systems don't allow for a normal shift and an overtime/premium shift it could have got lost mistaking the shift as a normal one just at the premium.
If they don't have a way to make extra payments then it will be a wait.
work out why it was wrong so it does not happen again.0 -

They haven't done it, as it isn't next months payday yet.
Mistakes do happen, but this is the SECOND time they have done it in the past year.0 -
If the payslip for this weeks payment on Friday is short then they have done it or you are not explaining the situation properly.
If it has happened before why did it happen and what change to the process was made so it did not happen again. (like improved time sheets)0 -
I meant they haven't made me wait yet.
I work for a big enough and well known company, I am sure they could make an extra payment at some point?
It seems like human error...not offence to the lady who does the wages but it isn't hard to add overtime >< As my other normal overtime has been added, just not the night shift one :S0
