    Free to you, some of the organizations are funded by financial organizations.
    If you look at the main part of the site (someone clever will be along soon with a link) then there are loads listed, just check them out and see who seems right for you.
    Don't forget there are super regular posters on this site (you know who you all are) who could sort out a debt problem with one hand whilst whipping up a 3 course meal from leftovers with the other.
    Not me I hasten to add, I'm of the "Can't Cook Don't give a stuff about learning to Cook" school

    Mkgirl when starting out you MUST have an emergency fund however small it will save you from all sorts of disasters on your debt free journey.

    The debt charities allow you to budget for this, it is the first step in Dave Ramseys advice and it is the very first thing debtors anonymous get you to do (besides stopping spending of course)
