She has the option of AVCs (ARCs) so can we just switch to these as they come off salary before tax is calculated?I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Hmmm, of course, that won't reduce her tax as she won't be paying any, but it will avoid tax on other income.
I'll have to rejig her investments as I've always avoided cash ISAs and have put the full allowance into S&S ISAs.
