iva

we have a iva ,we want to sell our house to clear everything we owe and would need to rent we need to know if we can sell,how much would we have to pay to the iva and could we rent having had a iva ,we should have the money to clear everything once we sell our house ,we just wont be able to start living again .we have decided there is more to life than having our own house as long as we have a roof over our heads and our family then we can do without owning a house any help would be greatful

    just bumping this one up as it's not been replied to. i'm afraid i'm useless as i don't even know what a "iva" is...

    I think that you should ask the Insolvency Practitioner, who is dealing with your IPA.
    I think that there may be an administration charge, but this would depend on your IP, and how he is levying his charges.
    Would you be offering to pay the FULL amount, or offering Full and Final Settlement?

    Hello ladycaz,

    You need to talk to your IP about this. As an IVA is legally binding you need to make sure you stay within the contract or your plans could backfire, depending what the terms of your IVA are.

    It's great that you have this oppertunity, but involve your IP.
