Hi everyone just a quikie,my monthly salary tends to be the same however due to being busy at the moment i have had to do some extra hours and thus my next pay check will be up about £100.I am on zero tax and the OR agreed that I barely earn enough to get by never mind pay an agreed monthly amount.
So A, do I need to tell the or when my wages increase a little
B, and do they do spot checks re pay slips.
Please note the extra is short term and will be over after another month.
Thanks in advance

IMHO I would let the OR know - if they don't care they will let you know, and from what I have read on here and other places if your OR is saying youdon't really hae enough to live on anyway, and it's only for 1 or 2 months max and then the extra £100 won't be there again it's not likely you will get an IPA - however can I stress this is just my thoughts. Also, I would be so scared that the OR would find out and go back to stressvile like before BR (now for me) of watching over my shoulder, scared of the phone ringing etc etc.
I know honesty hasn't paid for me a lot of times recently, but in the case of BR and the OR I am so for absolutely honesty all the way.Do not feed the trolls please.0 -
You ARE required to inform the OR of any change in income (UP or DOWN) within 21 days of the change.
So yes, I agree with Pixie - inform the OR and let them know that this change is temporary, citing the reason.
EQUALLY, you should inform the OR when your wage drops back to the normal level.
I'm not sure, but I seem to remember someone posting here saying that OR is not, normally interested in any increase of less than £200 pcm.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
