Key locks are a faff. £3 for a combination lock doesn't seem unreasonable. LA fitness are banging combi locks out for a tenner.0

Have used a 4 number combination lock for years and find it preferable to carrying a key.
However, at Total Fitness for the last few years they have had signs up saying that the advice from the police is not to use these locks, I have chosen not to take that advice.0 -

Hmm well the risk of keys padlock is that someone with the same lock can open yours completely by accident with no trouble whatsovever!0
