Hi All, I have seen a special offer at Lidl I want to buy but it says limited quantities. |Does anyone know the best way of getting the item ? is it queuing or going into the store beforehand to ask when it may arrive and be put out on sale ? thanks for looking and replying :-))

Come to my local Lidl. Where small business owners queue outside before opening and then clear the shelves to sell onwards before anyone else gets a chance.Hi All, I have seen a special offer at Lidl I want to buy but it says limited quantities. |Does anyone know the best way of getting the item ? is it queuing or going into the store beforehand to ask when it may arrive and be put out on sale ? thanks for looking and replying :-))Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I've seen people clearing the shelves of offers too - didn't they used to have a 'maximum of 6 per person' rule?0 -
If there is, there's no will to implement it in my local store. I think its crazy if they genuinely want the maximum footfall through the store and all the additional exposure, ad-hoc sales and customer conversions. Instead they get shop owners who pounce and buy nothing else. It's not as if there would be any stock left if people buying for personal use were the sole customer base for these offers.I've seen people clearing the shelves of offers too - didn't they used to have a 'maximum of 6 per person' rule?Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Unless Lidl enforce the 'maximum' rule, they probably lose a lot of other sales.
I have quite a journey to get to a Lidl and having made that journey several times in an attempt to pick up a special offer, I've just given up now even trying. I would inevitably have bought a lot more than just the item I went for - most of us do!0
