Good God   Are you sure it's not another of those Nigerian Scams? :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

It is completely a culture thing though - in this country 100 years ago a tan was a sign of being lower class, and whilst to my knowledge (not exhaustive, happy to be proved wrong!) it's never been a status symbol to be truly obese, the upper classes were expected to be bigger than the working classes as they were better fed!
I'm not surprised it's still a status symbol in Africa where so many are starving - only the truly wealthy can afford to be fat!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06
