Jewellery prizes under/overvalued?

Anybody ever won a piece of jewellery and if so did you get it valued and was it less than the promoters said it was worth or (very unlikely) more than it actually was?

It would usually be valued at less than what the promoter said it was worth because they would be using the RRP and the shop providing it would have their own mark-up on it. Most valuations would go off what the price of the metal and stones would cost, unless it was an extra special piece like from Tiffany.Make £10 per day-
