QuestionTESCOS anyone know what a recalled transaction is?

Anyone know what a recalled transaction is?

I shopped at Tesco today as always and at the top of the till receipt it says
RECALLED TRANSACTION and a row of ****************8

then the normal till receipt.

What does it mean and should I be worried?

thanks anyone who might know.

hi, i work on the desk at my local tesco's , and theres nothing to worry about . it just means that the cashier would have pressed the 'store transaction button which basically means we can recall the transaction later ie ..say ..someone has forgotten their purse ,and they need to go and get it ,then we would store the transaction and give you a receipt and we give one to customer service desk and then take the shopping into warehouse ,where upon your return we would scan your reciept ,the till would then print out all your shopping youv'e bought and we would then carry on as normal the numbers are just so computer knows what shopping there is
nothing to worry about perhaps just clumsy till operator lol ive done it before
hope this puts mind at rest
