Sounds like your broker is tied to Halifax, as unsure why else he/she would continue to flog this solution.
Speak to another broker and see what else is out there, I think this is unlikely to go through with Halifax.

Out of interest do Halifax still solely use Experian?0

We went to another whole market broker who also said reapply to halifax......so confused right now and i even phoned the halifax who never said no don't reply until a certain time period.
Halifax use callcredit as well as experian too.
Grrr.......This business is sure good for weight loss lol!0
