Boots Christmas weekly star gift thread

Hi,
I went to the points event today spend £50 get £12 in points and was disappointed that I didn't get a voucher for an extra 500 points for the next points event.As given out in previous years.
Also noticed no were near as much choice as previous years.x

Oh that's a shame. I did like those vouchers. I'm planning to go to a points event tomorrow. I'd like to get the ootw. Foot thingy with nails inc. Hope it will still be there tomorrow. They change on a Friday is that correct?

Don't worry, they had none left in my store yesterday, so they just order it from Boots.com, still giving you the store points offer.
The choice was given to me to deliver or collect in store.

This points event is probably (guessing) an extra one as I dont remember them starting the Christmas period with one before

I was the opposite - really pleased. I went yesterday to a Boots that does Smashbox, and spent 3 lots of £50 ish. For each one, I got the £12 in points, plus a further £7.50 in points off as there was a promotion on Smashbox. So, a total of £19.50 off each £50 shop. Plus, each time I got a voucher for £5 off No 7 skincare & £3 off make up.

I take it juicy couture viva la juicy is the star buy this week down from £60 to £29.50. (Sorry can't copy links as a newbie). Never smelt this before going to have to pop in to see

I went in on my way to work and yes it is the Juicy set
They've gone up market, this uear have Boots with a big flashing, sparkly star for the Star Gift! Can't miss it!

Does anyone know when the next points event will be? My store didn't appear to be taking part and baby kept waking up last night when I was trying to place an order and I missed the cut off 😞

Also if anyone knows if/when the double discount event is for discount card holders that would be great x

Hi, just looked at Boots.com and if you go into store locator and type in your local store it comes up with the next date (at mine it's 30th October) I am a bit peeved I missed out on the nails inc pedi gift as didn't get to the event yesterday but in my garage there is a ted baker hatbox and 2 soap and glory gift sets from previous years! I am a hoarder so made a conscious effort not to get sucked into spending most of my wages in Boots this year! it's really hard though. I am going to get a pedi thingie from Avon instead if I can.
Ps this week's gift is Juicy perfume, looks good for tweenage nieces, little sisters etc. But I am still not buying it!!!
