Boots Christmas weekly star gift thread

Ok, so random question, when you go to the points events, do you have to buy any of their Christmas gifts to get the 1200 points when you spend £50? Or can you just buy things like normal everyday toiletries? Seems like a good way to stock up on the essentials, especially if you can get the additional advantage card points when you log into your personal offers, ie. 1000 points when you spend £60, and possibly 450 points when you spend £45 too?
Now I'm not great at maths but I work out that if this works you would get £60 of stuff for possibly £33.50 (not taking into account any other vouchers, half price offers or BOGOFs.)

You can spend your money on anything in the store that is eligible for points, doesn't the 1000 points for £60 spend end before the next ad card nights?0 -
Is it possible to get £10 of points for £50 spend on a points night plus use the £12 of points for a £60 spend voucher all on a spend of £60 as that sounds too good to be true?0

It might well be that the voucher runs out before the points event - it does sound too good to be true
Just checking the dates on my vouchers. I was only postulating anyway - nothing in my previous post was confirmed

Yes, you're right, mine runs out on the 11th too, but the 450 points sticks around until the 25th. Still going to do a big essentials shop- still going to get £50 worth for £33.50, and Boots always have half price or BOGOFs on things like shampoo, deodorants and baby wipes so I am a happy bear0

Hello everyone
I am new to this, but I LOVE this thread and I really appreciate all the information, thank you.
I wanted to ask about the Jack Wills bag for men which is £45. I know that there has been previous discussion about this, but has anyone any idea if this will be on offer please? That is too much for me to spend unfortunately, but it is a lovely bag and set. I know that it has a parcel tag which makes it 3 for 2.
During the weekly offers, is their usually some sort of gift for men, or are they mostly the women's gift sets please?
Thanks again to everyone who contributes.0 -
I wasn't over impressed with the Gift Guide this year but went in store today and they have some lovely stuff
My sale wish list is going to be quite long this year I think!

Does anyone know when the perfume offers end?0

Thank goodness I found this thread my daughters been going on about the soap and glory for weeks I assured her it won't be yet and from the posts above it looks as if mid December is the time to keep a closer eye on here.
Thanks0
