Options
Just being curious, has anyone ever won a trolley dash? If so, what was it like? I'd love to win one :)

I won one over twenty years ago, when you had to fill in an entry form and make up a slogan. It was at my local Asda, early in the morning. I could only get one of each thing, so I settled on a few aisles and stocked up on different brands of coffee, different joints of meat for the freezer, for example beef, lamb, turkey etc. I also got several different boxes of chocolates for family and friends.

How funny the whole thing of "different strokes for different folks".... I always enter the weekly mag comps to win one, but hate the idea of actually winning!!

I just imagine looking all sweaty and fat running round the store then having to have my photo taken, with everyone looking at the trolley contents and then at my size 16 figure and thinking, "Does she really need those choccy biccies?" :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good Luck to you though in your search for one - would be perfect just before Christmas!

My big worry (should I ever be lucky enough to win) is that I won't be able to get out of money saving mode, and I'll still be comparing prices rather than grabbing and at the end of my 4 mins or whatever I've only got 5 items in my trolley ;)

DoK - can imagine that.... Or going through my list of purchase comps then trying to find promotional packs by digging to the backs of shelves!!! :rotfl:

I feel the same (can't run for toffee) so I always make sure to read the T&Cs to see if I can get someone else to run - I'm sure my younger, fitter brother who runs 5 miles a day will happily do it for me if I offer him food!

    Haha :)
    Thanks to all posters :A
  • I would absolutely love to win one, but you don't see many offered, unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

I saw one for a toy shop recently, but the t&c's said that you didn't actually get tvoucherthe stuff, you just went head to head against someone to see who got the most. Then thr winner got a voucher. Where's the fun in that though?
    Make £10 per day-
    June: £100/£300

For food, there's a weekly one in TaB... I think they're less common than they used to be. I guess they are worried about how much people will win :rotfl:

Due to having a physical disability I'm unable to run around so if I ever win I'd ask someone could run on my behalf.
